I just don't understand why all these Mega's go with water pump drives like jet ski's, the single most inefficient method of propelling a craft through the water.
Ex: my 10' supercharged sea-do with 185 HP, does about 57 MPH. Put that power to weight ratio into a real "surface drive" with prop and it would go well over 100, if you could hold on and keep it in the water. I just wonder what that 140' would do with custom surface drives? |

wow....i saw that boat on the discovery channel or TLC. I wonder what the fuel consumption is at WOT, and how far you can go @ a reasonable but fast cruising speed?

66 Knots Is 75.9 Mph And That Was Only At 90 Percent Power.
