I saw this on the travel channel and it has twin diesels and twin turbines to get its speed. They wanted 76 knots and only got 67 knots due to no steering at high speed.

I just don't understand why all these Mega's go with water pump drives like jet ski's, the single most inefficient method of propelling a craft through the water.

Ex: my 10' supercharged sea-do with 185 HP, does about 57 MPH.

Put that power to weight ratio into a real "surface drive" with prop and it would go well over 100, if you could hold on and keep it in the water.

I just wonder what that 140' would do with custom surface drives?

wow....i saw that boat on the discovery channel or TLC. I wonder what the fuel consumption is at WOT, and how far you can go @ a reasonable but fast cruising speed?

66 Knots Is 75.9 Mph And That Was Only At 90 Percent Power.

Ok I got a question. Can my single axle diesel pickup pull this ok? :drink: Its only 2 miles to the ramp and I'll go really slow :evilb: :evilb: :evilb:
