When you exit the Cuyahoga river into Lake Erie, turn West and travel about 60 miles- look for islands.

About the only thing going on in the Flats is the new Larry Flynt club that opened. Reports say it's as lively as a cemetary. The Flats has tanked hard.

I'll be up at Shooters Friday, Sat and Sunday to party. Normally I get there around 9 and stay pretty much most of the night until they boot us.

I have taken my boat out in Cleveland at the beginning or end of the season just because it is at home, always end up bored.

I'm probably still goign to stay local for a number of reasons. The flats can be fun, depends on the night. Nothing like getting a bunch of chicks on your boat and having a praty LOL good times at shooters this past summer.

I will prob be at Kelleys for Halloween,I may have a "land" party that night at a friends house,if not Kelleys is the deal. I happen to be at Kelleys most of the time,I like it there, all my friends are normally there too,we spend too much at the bay!!

Just pay attention to floating logs in Cleveland, one BIG reason I don't like the waters here, when I was here in July a 10 ft log hit my boat when I was docked!!
No damage but its the point.

The PIB New Years party is usually pretty good. Fewer "amateurs" than the usual summer weekends.

Logs? I've seen entire trees floating just below the surface- especially in late spring. Not little one's either- big, monster shade trees. I couldn't imaging hitting one at speed.

looks like we will hit the islands this weekend as well, can't decide between overnighting at Kelly's or the Bay, any suggestions..... We have never been to Put In Bay for NewYears eve so we don't know what to expect dockage wise, do you think it will be to hard to get a dock Saturday around 4:00PM? Thanks
