All 27' Fountains here in Ala. will have to remove the beak to be under the new 26'11" and over ban if we don't win the lawsuit battle.

That is Pizza Joe's boat. He was going to introduce a new revelation in the industry. Insiders said it was going to be better than 'Pope on a Pizza'-

'Beak on a Pizza'?????????

Yes I actually think that Craig Furgeson was the first to do this in order to get his boat qualified for the Catalina Ski Race in Avalon, Long Beach California. it was a running surface issue and related to the way the sanctioning body measured it. It was actually incredibly funny, he had a custom made box he put the "Beek" inside of after he tool it off, and he had some kind of fastening system where he could bolt / unbolt it.

Really creative and it completly pissed off the Oficials who were trying to get his boat disqualified.

I appreciated the initiative, typcal Racer.

Yep that is why they did that. I read it in Powerboat many years ago.
