What part of the river you on?

In the Peoria area (30 miles of water) there's six or seven restaurants I can think of that are on the river. It's pretty busy right around Peoria on the weekends. Several party beaches attract quite a few boats. The water is pretty silty, similar to the Mississippi. If the water levels are down you pretty much have to stay in the channel.

The scenery is great outside of Peoria, especially in the fall when the leaves are turning.
