Default Passport Extended Warranty?

Does anyone have the Passport extended warranty for the 525's? What is the price per motor and is it worth it. Has anyone had to use it yet?

I have 2003 Formula boat with the provided passport warranty, and one of the 525's eat a piston. Passport will pay up to $15000 for repairs and then close out the policy. That is the limit of their coverage. I would have to check to see if the bill has been paid yet.

Actually the standard limit of liability is $10,000 per engine. You have the option to increase that to either $20,000 or $30,000 per engine. I did the $20,000 upgrade on my policy.
