You are kidding me a wedding and they really expect NO boats to be running then?

Could you imagine, I would have paid extra money to get married at a venue during the races! Who needs a gazebo for wedding pics? Set me up on turn one and snap away!!

I'm sure they didn't tell them " OH great we can have your wedding right between the powerboat races "


I actually feel bad for the bride if it doesn't go as planned

Do you really think they told the bride??? This happened last year too, but we didn't run six races.

Where to watch? These people have a pretty good view from the curved pier behind the Hyatt. It's almost scary close and your feet get wet.

That's the great thing about this site, the boats tie up on one side of the pier and the race course is on the other side of the pier. Just turn around and there you are!

They run close to the fishing pier too. It's just out of this photo but about 50' off the course.

Were doing a fly-by on Friday, Heading to Suicide Bridge Restaurant for lunch with a bunch of guys from work...Its our annual lunch run, than back home.

Coming down by car on Sunday early, gonna stop at Holly's for breakfast, they have great food!
