FYI, my bank uses NADA and most of our local banks do as well.

Actually, the majority of my lenders look to the NADA for loan values; and they work off of the "used trade-in $#". If there's no data in NADA, they will default either BUC or ABOS. ABOS doesn't quantify any option costs, but they do better with motor hp ratings, using actual $ values for the various engine packages that were available in that hull. The HP500's and 500EFI's value @ 470 hp, 525SC's value @ 490, and I believe 525EFI's value @ 500.

It would be the $ difference between the boat with 470hp and the boat with 415 hp. As I said, ABOS gives you the actual $ of the boat with that particular motor/power; NADA has a $ chart for the upgrade from the boat with base hp, to the upgrade horsepower that YOU specify. You can access NADA online(BUC, too). If you want ABOS $'s, I'll be happy to run them for you. PM me.

NADA just emailed me back and said to use CRANK HP. But, the more I look at their site the more that doesn't make sense. "Standard motors" are popping up at 385hp a lot which we all know is a 454 Mag MPI.
