All of you guys make good points. I never beach my boat either. It really surprises me how many people do!! We boat on the Mississippi River north of St Louis and there are a lot of beaches. I would say 95% of all boaters beach their boat. Now.... probably 60% of those or POS's, but the other 40% are very expensive, nice boats. I have had people with $100K+ boats rammed halfway up the beach look at me cross-eyed when I anchor mine out and say that I am taking up too many spots.
Basically tell them to mind their own business and it is their choice if they don't give a sh!t about their own boat....
