Like Nails On A Chalkboard!!!!

We do that here all the time . You park over top of the area you like ( snipes point ,Marvin key etc. ) Then as the tide goes out she drop's down and you have an afternoon of sandy beach . Only problem is once you get there plan on spending at least 6 hours .

I only do it with my out boards . I would never park the " Yee Ha " on those surfaces .

That`s why they made anchors right?

What really makes me cringe is when some captain with more money than sense first runs up on the beach and decides he just isn't far enough. So what's the only logical thing to do? Trim the outdrive all the way up in trailer position and hammer down! You can just hear those U-joints begging for mercy and the rooster tail of water and SAND is quite amusing!

Another thing that cracks me up is we get some BIG yachts running up the river throwing huge wakes. They usually swamp the smaller boats and the larger boats get moving around so much everybody is running around trying to keep their boats from hitting each other. Meanwhile my anchored rig is gently rolling up and down, up and down... no worries.
