For the second time in a row, my youth hockey team, the “HB Breaker’s”, won the Campbell League Division Championship….. :biggrin:

I am so proud of this group of 8 year old kids !!!!.....

We have been involved in youth hockey for over 4 years and I have never see a more selfless group of kids in my life….

For you peeps into statistics, here are the numbers for the 10 regular season games….

As you can see, with only 19 goals against & only 94 goalie saves for the season, we have a great defensive team……

Here are the numbers for the two playoff and championship game….

Playoff Game 1
Win 9-1
We had 39 shots on goal…..They had 12….

Playoff Game 2
Win 9-4
We had 27 shots on goal……They had 14……”Little bit tougher game!”….

Championship Game
Win 3-1…..”Nail Bitter!”
We had 31 shots on goal……They had only 9…..
This was by far our toughest game of the season……
The score was only 1-1 at the end of the second period !!!!
Their goalie was amazing!....Letting up only 3 goals for 31 shots!

My son is "Ian".....He is the second photo from the end....

The only girl on our team, "Melissa", is a MONSTER on defense !!!!

She is 1 of 10 girls in the league, but, as you can see, is ranked #25 out of 75 kids......so he can score as well....

The "HB" is for Huntington Beach, CA.
