Need Info on 27' Excaluibur
#1
As a boy growing up on the Long Island Sound I used to sail with my parents each weekend, watching a gorgeous 27' Excalibur with twin Johnson 235's fly by. It was my dream boat. I see one in the classifieds and can't seem to find any others. Does anybody have any info on them? I understand that before 1982 a difference company, not Wellcaraft, built them. Who now has the mold?
Thanks.
Thanks.

There are several 27's out there. I have a 27 Speedster Raised Deck for sale. It is set up for a single inboard. I have seen plenty of outboard models for sale. Excalibur Marine was the original builder. Wellcraft eventually bought the Excalibur name and molds. There is a lof of history in the Excalibur section, including some info from the owner of Excalibur back in the day.

there is one for sale down here by me in Deer Park Texas...... I have seen it out on the water a few times... we have a 27 excal Inboard with a SSM#3 that I think my step dad is interested in selling.. I got hurt and the boat hasn't been out in a year.... see posts in excalibur section.
The OB boat looks nice from the pics and I haven't ever seen it up close.
