I did try to find pictures of this new 38 SFC on Fountain's site, but it's not working.

Perhaps a larger anchor locker?

Congrats on the numbers! Providing they indeed were only 525hp.

Surely they can dial in a boat to do that. And yes people can be on the boat to witness the speed. But who is actually going to ask them to prove that they are stock 525's ? :rolleyes:

I remember that test. Also don't forget the Merc 525's are putting out a lot more power than 525. The HP500's were only 470 + or-10% at the prop. If the engines are stock like are supose to be then I can only figure the boat had health 525's, lighter weight than the 1st 35 Lightning, better aerodynamics, better drives and x dim and hull is improved and most liely Hering props.

How much more power are they putting out? Are they 525 at the prop or at the crankshaft?
