I did try to find pictures of this new 38 SFC on Fountain's site, but it's not working.

Porsche like Fountain, cant argue with that!

If the boat will run 103 with 525's and Bravo's what would it run with 600's and #6's? If you could still get over a hundred and not have to replace the drives every other season that would be something. I know it's got to have a super high x dim. to it, so it must be hard to plane out and even harder on the drives.

Fountain raises the bar again. I love hearing news like this. It does good for the advancement of all of the powerboats we so love. The only thing that frustrates me is how so many question the facts. If OL or Cig made the same claim then there would be nothing but congrats from everyone. If Fountain does it then it must have been rigged, or not stock engines. Come on people, just be happy for them for their accomplishments.

I've heard that if they don't dyno at 540 they tear them down and try again.

I have heard some of the better ones around 565hp :drink:


I know of one that dynoed 580 something that was modifided :eek:
