Step one........is repairing/replacing both transoms. Boat is now stripped of hardware.....(including throwing out the Mustang bucket seats)....... Pictures of transom work will be forthcoming as we progress. Remember this is a two year project, and I am slow on the uptake.
The engines are another story......Can't decide on Stackers or T2x's........will probably go for the latter ...if I can find two. Various people are searching as we speak.....in all the "right" places.

I can understand your wanting to go with T2x's but were any Wings run with that much power,I can't recall other than a couple of triple Stacker boats. Of course twin Stackers would be a problem, you and Darren would both be arrested in a few minutes for noise violations. Maybe Corsa makes internal mufflers to fit them,LOL

Magic:
To my knowledge, no Wings were run with anything more than Twister I's......... Probably 50 hp per motor less than good 2 ring T2x's...... But, this is a 20 foot wing not an 18 footer, and I wouldn't take any stupid chances with it....(at least not with a passenger......other than maybe Steve David..... ).
On paper the speed potential with new crescent gearcases and DeWald props is probably upwards of 130....... but I get SO A'SCARED............. Tee hee.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to it........as you may know I have a date to "race" it against (one of) the "original" El Diablo wings at Clayton in 2004. .......... If Mr. Buckley shows up
