We just finished the first one...."The Legend of Apache"..... Voice over next week and some minor inserts and sponsor thank you's.... should be available in June.

We had a lot of technical issues....but all of that is finally behind us...and Darren did a fine job in spite of the problems....

We should have a nice collection by the time Christmas rolls around.

Thanks for asking.

Rich,

We raced against Bobby a dozen times, and he NEVER beat us.

Bet you won't mention that!

Anyway, can you alter the audio to eliminate all of the times (many, I'm afraid) that I hit the rev-limiters? I watch the old race tapes from time to time, and I'm embarrassed to hear the occasional "pop," but almost never from Bobby.

Fortunately, we had a faster, more reliable boat, but there was NO comparison in the Throttleman's performance. He's the best. Period.

You'll have details on OSO first. After all the advance requests, I was advised to take pre delivery deposits (To fund expenses) and we decided not to. I am really glad we didn't after all the time that has elapsed.

At least we can sleep nights without anyone else's money in our pockets.

Bobby claims you never beat him...All I remember is you being the only guy to break both feet in a race...... Probably from running around in the cockpit... :p

i raced a shadow cat with 4 merc 2.5s (what were we thinking)i am convinced the 30 shadow is splashed from an M1 army tank if you think i,m kidding look at the profile of the M1 with out the cannon ! we broke the center two engines in half 7 times.....powerhead also explodes ....nice thing was they would break the mid case and both lower units and props would be totaly gone with no drag we could run about 60 on two engines......boat name was FOREPLAY was raced in the mid 80,s as a triple engine boat named triple threat

I raced against Triple Threat in Apollo 2 a triple engine Shadow Cat.
Would love to watch the center engine tach bounce from 7000 to 8000 rpms during the entire race.....

Re: Great Moments in Cat History

the shadow was so tough it survived coming off the trailer at 70 with all 4 engines bolted down (no trim) totaling the dually then headed into the woods after sliding on wet grass 800 feet the tunnel bent the small trees over then rode them up in the air the boat was 12 feet in the air we had to cut the trees down to get the boat down it broke all 4 transom brackets but the hull only had one small 6" scratch from going over the trailer winch!
