38 fastec vs. 38TG

I have been out in both and there is no comparison. You can see which one I bought. I also owned the 31 Fastech prior to this purchase.
The Fastech also topped out in the mid 70's and the TG is mid 80's.

I love both boats. Pros and cons, as you get with any comparison
Cig for performance, helm/cockpit layout, wave crushing capability, legendary reputation (tried tested and true)
Formula for sexy lines, interior layout/liveability, luxury options, "new wave" technology
IMO, either one would make you happy!

Both are great boats. I was a salesman at a dealership that sold both. Both were Factory 2 national champions. Very different ride in big water. Both great but different. The formula has a lot more "wife" features like a pump out head, adjustable footrests, glove box with a mirror inside. The Cigarette is more of the pureist offshore boat. I would take the Cig but my wife likes the Formula...thats why I own a Cigarette.
I have never seen any problems with the quality of either, if you hear about more quality issues with formula it's probably because they build a whole lot more boats than Cig.
