Best O' luck to your mom.....

I was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. Had the sucker removed 12-18. Got a good path report and on the mend.

Life is short, let the ones you care for know that you care.

I miss Jen too. We worked closely together for a few years on the OPA race in Point Pleasant. She was always a handfull.

Here she is with her husband John Cohen of Superboat. I believe that's the first Y2K in the background.

Knowing Jen, I bet it was a very long letter. She had a good heart.

Sorry to hear about your Mom Slingshot.
My prayers are with her.

Unfortunately my wife's sister in law after never having any symptoms of anything until she came down with a cough just 2 1/2 months ago, she went for x-rays when anti biotics didn't work. All in 1 day she found out she had lung cancer and it was already stage IV that also was in her liver and her brain. She left us on New Years Eve on the exact same day my wife's brother met her 30 years ago... 48 years old. in 8 weeks from knowing anything was wrong, she passed away...

Not only dealing with her situation, but I couldn't help but have it bring all I had gone through with Doug Lewis and Scott Applegate and their illnesses.

We all have lost many good people in these last 5 to 10 years.
I often wonder, is it just that we are now getting older ourselves, or is the disease just wreaking havoc on so many more people?

Again, best wishes for your mom... and live as if there is no tomorrow...
