GREAT News, Does this mean Mine are at Mark's place.
How about the throttle bodies, are they ready as well. Scism is getting pretty nervous about having a motor in the boat for the show.

There in the machine right now. Mark was going to get ahold of you to discuss everything.

Here's the CAD version of the throttle body. This is huge!! Holds 10 injectors, has progressive linkage, etc.

Yea, I've been talking to him pretty regularly, I'll call him later today.:drink:
Thanks for the pics they look great, especially the throttle body. Any idea when it will be ready for Mark. Also how much HP will it support with the MEFI 4. I am assuming ( I know I shouldn't) that the 65# injectors with MEFI will be the limiting factor.:D :D
Thanks
Michael

Michael,

We can ship next week a prototype, production TB's will be ready in 2-3 weeks. All other componets are ready, including the belt system.

There's some new 83lb/hr high impedence injectors or there's an adapter that can run low impedence injectors.

Thanks,
Dustin

Thanks Dustin, I just talked to Mark and he told me about the possiblity of needing to run the low imped. Injectors. He also said the new belt system should be really cool. I look forward to seeing it all together.
Thank you for all the updates, I will be talking to Mark again this afternoon.

There's many different prices, but a list/retail price of a manifold/intercooler/16-rib belt system/polished for a top entry supercharger (typically carburated) is $11,249.99. Your choice of pulleys/belt. EFI is more because of the throttle body.

Thanks,
Dustin

Dustin, I need a SC to fit a '06 Chevy trk. I don't know of any Dealers close to me. How do I go about purchasing one? Would also like to talk to you about 2 305"s.

Re: New Whipple 305's

Just to let some know, we've dubbed this compressor the 305 as that's the cubic inch of air it pumps per rev. But, when comparing to our other sized compressors, it's acutally double the size of the 200ci sc (3.3L). This compressor is driven off the smaller gear, which is 33% slower, so if it was driven off the big gear, it's a 6.6 liter or 406 cubic inch. The difference is the max speed. Max speed is 20,000 rpm driven off the small gear, 33% less if it was off the big gear. I'm just posting this because people have said it's smaller than the quad w200's when in reality, it's the same size, but more efficient.

Thanks Keith,

That's 2:1. Remember it's made to turn over 3:1. 2:1 on a 600ci motor would be around 12-16psi depending on cylinder heads, exhaust, etc. 1200+hp. On one of the motors we tested, it had 1250hp @ 13psi, 6400rpm (600ci). @ 2.75:1, it had 19psi and 1475hp.

Thanks,
Dustin

Re: New Whipple 305's

Thats bad ass. Was that pump gas or race fuel @ 19 psi?
Any problems with air intake temp at that ratio?
Thanks
