....because one was involved in a tragic accident? Would you also recommend (with your well informed opinion) that we avoid buying an Outerlimits or Nortech for the same reason?

You would have to eliminate most all manufactures with this mindset. Sunsation based their new F-4 off the 38 PP. I was at the factory the day Sunsation was cutting sections of the PP hull sides out. PP's are built like brick sh!thouses.

You can't go wrong with a nice 31-foot Cigarette Bullet!

2 Trick Rick has a nice 29 Scarab for a great price, plus he's local.

anyone know of a nice one for a reasonable price?????

70K range..................

Being a former Sunsation owner that lives in Michigan you would be crazy not to buy a 32 Dominator. That would be like the president of Ford buying a Lexus, oops he almost did!

Why no Fountains or Formulas? You could buy a BeekBoat 35 Lightning and have yourself a really nice 30 footer!

I've been a PP fan for 25 years. To me the PP is the single best looking boat on the water, and up until recently known for rough water prowess and durability.

I've read a couple threads now about PP's have massive structural failures, and as a prospective buyer, I'd want to know the why.

I am not here to smear, just to make sure the buyer makes an informed decision. While the truth is not always easy, I would appreciate the same candor in return.

If someone can point me to a thread that clears up my doubts on PowerPlay, I'll remove my questioning comment.

I've seen every make and model have some kind of structural failure no matter who it is, Cig, Fountain, Sutphen. If you beat them hard enought they WILL break.
