Bryan,

I would suggest boating to the Drivers meeting and BS w/ others until the run starts. As for my place, I am thinking probably around 2-3pm friday. As for bringing stuff, work on that a week prior. Oh by the way, the "Cliffs" has multiple jumps, 20feet you must not have seen anyone go up to the high overhang about 50-60foot drop depending on water leval and it hurts when you hit the water. As for Dock space, my house well be OK. But at the parties before and after the run, it can get crowded.

Bryan, last year dock space was not bad with 52 boats. If there are more boats this year it may be a bit more of a problem. Im sure we can raft up at anchor and catch a pontoon ferry or something to the dock.

I did get your address. I got all but one card stop marked on your map last night. I'll find it today then get your map out to ya. Im going to call SMLBA and get some more maps, maybe 5 or 6. Anybody that wants one e-mail(no private message) me your address. It's a full size color map so I can't fax it. It's a very nice map with all lodging, restraunts, most marina and all day marks and bouys.
I just hope I don't piss anybody off at SMLBA by passing out this info. But why would they be upset??

Will, 2 or 3 sounds great! THANKS!
talk soon, Eric

Hey guys instead of getting a buch of real maps I found a place today that made me 8 copys of the one I have. I marked all the card stops, the start/finish, R.t's Dock&Dine(friday registration&dinner), Mariner's Landing where Bryan is staying, Bernard's Landing where Steve and I are staying, Will's house and the cliffs.
I did talk to a guy from SMLBA and he said they don't have anymore maps right now. Says they were furnished by a local realtor. He also said they hope to get more for poker run time. They will be handed out when we get our poker run packets on Friday night.

E-mail me your addresses and I'll send out these copys.

Thanks, Eric

Thanks Eric, your the man, I really appreciate the effort and thought.

Oh, while I am thinking of it, I did not plan to do Friday night, if I have too I will drive over and just grab my packet.

This 4 day weekend is a family deal and the poker run for me and my buddy is the bonus in my eyes... we do plan to attend the after Prun gig, but we will dock and drive over...

How long did 7 stops take last year?
What time did it start?

Thanks again man.... I owe you some cold ones.......
Bryan

Default Anytime!!

I think we left the docks around 11am. We got back around 4:30pm but a lot of others got back before that. That was our first trip to SML and our first poker run. So we were a little behind the veterans.

Friday night the free food and bar is from 6-8pm for us poker runners. People stay after and party and drink but we(wife and I) will be heading back to Bernard's about 30 minutes before sunset. Because we're gonna go by boat. Which is probably between 8:45 & 9pm that time of year. I think.

So by 8 or 8:15pm or so we will be gone also. I like to wait til the boat is teid up for the night before I drink more than a couple beers.

I'll get your map out tomorrow.

By the way, we all need to exchange cell #'s sometime before May 16th.

Eric
