Looks like Kerr is down 2.25' but rising slowly. I'm going down Wed (North Bend Park) May 22. When are you going?

Im not sure if we will make it to Kerr for Memorial Day or not. Got SML the weekend before and the Ocean City races the weekend after. How long is the drive from Richmond to Kerr(Buggs Island)?

Thanks for the kind words, Bryan. I'm not sure how much faster it will be, but it sure looks a hell of a lot better.

The 6th might be a little early for me to be running that far. The engines "should" be finshed by this Sunday. That leaves getting the upholstery put back in. I'll replace the dash panels during the spring sometime...

I see you are staying at Bernards, do you use one of their docks or a dock at one of the marinas?

I'm going to try and make a reservation at Bernards tomorrow, hope it's not too late.

All the rain this week brought the lake back up, should be at full pond by sat. As long as AEP doesn't sell off all the water for power

As far as I know all the condos at Bernard's have docks. And yes we are using it. There is a decent ramp there too. As long as the water level is near normal the ramp is fine.

Once you put the boat in the water you have to park the trailer in a designated lot for the remainder of your stay.


Bernard's is real nice and clean and spread out. You'll like it!

Try and request a condo that is close to the docks. Some of them have a 100yd or so walk to the dock. Like ours. It's not bad but just a suggestion.
