Builder makes the call on model year. They can call it whatever they want, anytime they want. Earliest I have seen is April for the next model year, but it could be earlier depending on what the builder is wanting to accomplish.

Does seem odd to have a trade in that is a 2008 already. Guess the owner wants a Nor-Tech and has more money than they know what to do with.

Nah. I ordered my 22 Classic in May of 04. I took delivery July 3rd 04 and it is a 2005.

What you talked about just may be how Fountain defines their model year perhaps... I dunno.

OUCH!

The new paint plans are MUCH more earthly. The public just is not ready for the Planet Krypton look. Can't knock a guy for being ahead of his times.

In order to correct a mis-informed post about our 2006 42 with 850's here are the details. The boat was delivered to us October 2005 year not 2 YEARS ago. As some will rememeber it was in the Ft. Lauderdale show and the Mercury dock demo display during Miami. It has been in some poker runs but not near the 12 or more as someone stated. As a new Outerlimits dealer we chose to run a demo boat to get our name and the product out. Since then the boat has been gone through by the factory and cleaned up top to bottom.

It is for sale at a discounted price and the new owners will have trouble free boating along with support from Hideaway and the factory at poker runs if they choose to attend. To some a discounted price on an Outerlimits is still hard to believe and I'm sure that holds true for MTI, Cigarette, and other limited production boats.
