I was down there last Nov. and Rat was gracious enough to offer me a ride.
It was one helluva ride - he headed straight out into the gulf (no IC crap) - I think he was testing me to see if I had the "stuff" to go for a ride.
We were running in solid five+ swells at full throttle - just cathing enough water on the top of the swells to keep us running mid 70's.
One of the best rides of my life.
I was watching the boat the whole time. Deck didn't even flex or flinch at any wave we hit. Solid!
And one hell of a looker with the teak in the cabin (if you're into Old-school )
She's a great ride - wish I was in a position to do it myself, but it would require a larger tow vehicle, and I can't do both at the moment.
