As all Cigarettes the finish is excelent. However, for my taste it is too loud of a paint scheme. Kind of looks like circus colors.
Just my opinion.

cosmic12 02-12-2007 11:07 AM

I can only dream:( What am I saying I can't even aford to dream about that!! That's one sweet ride

tomtbone1993 02-12-2007 11:10 AM

i like it:cool:

ktron 02-12-2007 11:11 AM

I am not really into the paint from the pics but boats usually always look better in person. The 38 TG w/ 525's is an awesome package! One of the best all around boats out there.

I'm not a big fan of over over-the-top paintjobs, but I think this is a sharp boat and is pleasing to the eye. One thing I don't like is how the center stringer in the bilge has hose clamps and hoses rigged on top of it. It is a great spot to stand when working in the bilge and now you cannot.

BraceYourself 02-12-2007 11:22 AM

Not a fan of all the orange. Love the dash lay out though.

baja27 02-12-2007 11:23 AM

Nice boat , but the paint is not my taste

WildWarrior 02-12-2007 11:27 AM

As I am also looking at newer rigs to replace our Gun and maybe the Cat, I quess the only thing that turns me off is the fact that most of the top dogs have gone with these super loud multi color interior and bolster combinations,to me it just looks cheap!

That does looks like al nice clean Gun, still alot going on in the multi color department ,maybe these pastel colors look better in person.

In a few days Miami may change my mind .
Good Luck!

blume 02-12-2007 11:33 AM

I think it looks great!!!!..................nice boat with low hours, 525's, ITS and sportshorties. What else could you want in a loaded Top Gun. Full cabin with sport seating.

sakoutis3 02-12-2007 11:48 AM

Beautiful boat with rock solid power train. What more could you want?

TexomaPowerboater 02-12-2007 12:14 PM

Sweat boat.

This boat is in my neck of the woods - Lake Texoma. Judging by the pictures it looks to be sitting up at Derreberry marine. I frequently attend the poker runs and I can tell you that I have never seen it at one. Which could be a good thing. In fact, I boat on the lake every single weekend during the summer and I have never seen it. I could check it out for you if you like. I'm no expert, but that boat looks to be in perfect shape and I doubt I would be able to find anything wrong with it.

Indy 02-12-2007 12:25 PM

Love the boat but the paint job is too much for me.

bouyhunter 02-12-2007 12:30 PM

I like it from the outside, but the interior is too much for me.

OL40SVX 02-12-2007 12:42 PM

The boat is in Old Saybrook CT at Ocean Performance where they took it in in trade for a 39 Outerlimits. The boat is sitting inside their rack building next to our boat. I know Pat gave you a price on the boat also. It seems like a good deal. If you want any other info on the boat or current pics, I can supply them for you.

Great Boat but if you swing a little more I would look real hard at a 39' 700's and NXT drives .

pm203 02-12-2007 12:53 PM

The paint is loud, but acceptable. The cockpit is a little too loud for me.

jtmiller02 02-12-2007 12:56 PM

i'd like to see that paint with it sitting in the water...hard to get a read on the lines with just that one angle shot on a trailer

Same here. I'm not a huge fan of loud paint jobs, but I kind of like this one.
I'm even less of a fan of loud interiors, and I hate orange. I'd like the boat a lot more with the same paint job and a basic white interior with some colored accents (billet pieces, embroidery, etc.)
Then again, I couldn't afford to insure and fuel it, so what does my opinion matter. :D

The paint has alot of detail. the whole side even the silver has reflective alphs that just sparkle in the sun.

pm203 02-12-2007 02:29 PM

That is a very nice paint job. And, very resaleable as well.

dykstra 02-12-2007 02:38 PM

I like it!

Clay Washington 02-12-2007 02:40 PM

A Cig is a Cig. You can't go wrong with one.

However, I HATE that yellow and red color scheme! :(

The blue and silver is nice, but I guess I'm just "old school". I much prefer a clean look to the wild paint jobs. The summer sun in Texas can be HOT! If it ain't white, you gotta put a towel on it! :D

That blue / gray boat is beautiful. If I were to custom order one, it would look a lot like that.

kjm5125 02-12-2007 03:14 PM

Great looking boat! Not sure on the cabin or cockpit colors. I would have to see it in person. In the end, if the price was right, I'd take it.

Breathe Later 02-12-2007 03:19 PM

The blue/graphite boat at Grand Sport in Chicago is an oustanding boat. The attention to detail is superb. Also, special attention was given to the Cig oval and it's a site to behold. With the (asking) price of some of the '04-'05 boats, in addition to the 6.25% "use" tax for used boat purchases, the numbers on the remaining '06 and new '07's makes good sense.

pm203 02-12-2007 04:00 PM

Is it a short cockpit or newer longer cockpit boat?

johnnyo 02-12-2007 04:08 PM

the blue and grey is my dream boat! hopefully someday.

The blue GSC Cigarette is the all new 2007 has the 18" longer cockpit. 18" does make a big difference in that cockpit.

LostCowboy 02-12-2007 04:57 PM

I like both of them. I haven't seen many ugly Cigs. I like the paint on mine too but then I like the paint on the next one I see. I go "chit, should have done something like that!" Most all are winners!

Comanche3Six 02-12-2007 05:24 PM

Park them both in my driveway.

offshoredrillin 02-12-2007 05:29 PM

I like the orange one, but I wouldnt trust a broker period!!

This entire quote could have come straight from my mouth.
That is exactly what I thought too.

This is my buddies boat with the almost the same paint as the orange one.

customryder 02-12-2007 06:23 PM

has the orange boat even been in texas?

MikaylaHunterCig 02-12-2007 06:30 PM

Awesome Cig with a proven power plant package....

But you might freak at the thought of boating under 100mph again...
