On a serious note....it is now 22*F at the Heliport (Bethpage) and windy as h-ll. If you are without power too long you will have some frozen pipes, and water damage. My nieghbor across the creek had a waterfall coming out his 2nd floor bedroom sliding door

We caught the southern end of that storm last night. Covered in Ice here - likely coming you're way next - going to be even colder tomorrow.
We had a 9yr old girl around here walking her dog get killed by a falling tree because it was so heavy with ice it snapped. Heard it on the news this morning. Very sad.
My wife is stuck in an airport in Minneapolis right now trying to get home a day early from Phoenix
For some reason her boss thought she needed to get back a day early.
I guess just so she can enjoy the weather here...

I wish I logged on earlier tonite! I have been out in this Sh!t all day and would have had no problem making a run into the city. Unfotunately for me I have already settled in for the night with my PJ's on and a couple Jack and Cokes!
