I got power back to the house. I hear Red Bank looks like one huge ice crystal. The city was empty last nite. I'm gonna cut out early today, and work from home tomorrow. Stayed in a hotel less than a block away from work. Man, it was nice to only have a 5 min walk to the office this morning, much better than that 1hr 20min train ride.

It was above normal for a few weeks and it's been below normal for a few weeks... Now there's 3 ft. of snow on the ground up state, which is normal for this time of year. Looks like the temps are expected to be normal starting next week.

Sounds like natures way of balancing things out to me...

Craziness.... Drive a few miles up RT 35 to my house and there's no ice at all. The ice ends near Cherry Tree Farm Rd., from there over it's all sleet accumulation.

What's it look like down by the beach??
