Post Rinker/ Baja 262 performance boat

Picked up the March issue of Fam/Perf mag and at first glance of the cover thought they were testing a Baja 272! Very similar windshield, same overall shape, deck hatches, swim platform, sunpad, headrests....whats up wid dat???

Yep, you definately can't ignore the similarities(visually, at least).

When you put your hand over the aft half of the boat, it looks a LOT like the 272's.

I got a brochure with that Rinker in it at the Chesapeake Boat Show. I must say it looks pretty good. I believe that they can put anything up to a 496HO in it. Not the fastest boat but not bad... Hey!!! What am I saying? With a 496HO that will outrun my current ride. (Baja 232 7.4MPI)

Oh, the shame... Whupped by a Rinker...

Based on the website, it's got a nice list of standard equipment... Gaffrig guages, Zero Effort controls, quick and quiet exhaust, decent stereo and bolsters. Offered with up to a 500 EFI with a lab finished prop. But I can still say it rhymes with stinker as it blows by me...

Saw it at the Chicago show. My buddy thought it was gorgeous, I thought it was butt ugly. And at $63,000, there are other rides I would pick...mostly used.
