Yes ! Cougarman |
SCS quoted me 16000 for the pair.
Dont know what comes in the kit. But this is what you need. Machined flywheels Under block starters 12 volt air compressor with tank. micro switches located in the throttles. ( I beleave they have incorperated them in the Neutral saftey switches so you dont need them in the throttles) SCS can answer all your questions. There are also a coulple of used ones I have been scoping in the neighborhood of 8000 for the pair. The only way to go with Big power and big boats Gerry |

(hope you know by now I am being a smartarse...) You and I can tear up the water together in both of Gino's boats. We all know the stories - this would probably be a much safer move for him, with his bad-luck and all. With his luck, the life insurance premiums gotta be draining him - this would be a method of cutting his expenses.:D Gino - good luck with the new boat - and remember, keep the tow vehicle dry when launching.:D |
Speed Racer here, I have them in Big Speed (the pleasure version of Speed Racer) And they do hold up and work great, never any problems if they are set up properly. You really need to know how to work them, it just takes time, but I love them in my boat. Do it the easy way and just buy SPEED RACER, Buy the best and only cry once.

Just remember, do not approach the dock any faster than you want to hit it.

Thank you! If your not going to buy the ones you know about can you pm me the info. Thank you! I think going this route is my only option.
I've been using them for a couple of years in Freedom US1 and they work great!!! Be sure to put switches on the dash or somewhere convenient to give you positive control over the air clutch. They have shifters available with microswitches to make it seem like your shifting a regular transmission but I have found that they don't work some times and its best to use the manual toggle switches for positive control. Its the only way to go with big power and park at poker runs.:D |
