the Tantrum is still at the top of my list but having a hard time finding one that i like that will still be available when im ready to pull the trigger. I like the lines of the sonic and need to stay in the 24' to 26' range.

Right,

My best was 67 gps. It is a Panzer tank not a Porshce. I ran this in the Miami-KeyWest poker run last year through some pretty crazy s#$t. I like the full head and galley (wife does at least).

With more power - when I rebuild it will be great - thinking raylar. Driving this smaller boat makes you a little fearless. It is really one of the most rock solid if not fastest. I have had a couple 27 Fountains and 25 Bajas back off in swell. No offense to those boats so nobody get testy.

It likes to porpoise a bit, like most singles, I upgraded to larger trim tabs and it fixed it for the most part. Sure does not chine walk like my old Shooter 272.

I also have full steering which I think is a must in any boat. I actually downgraded from twin 31 with 502s - got kids coming up on college.
