Maybe we can set up a legal fund to help offset some of the bills, perhaps everyone that has ever attended a poker run or fun run can throw in a bit of money.

This is what will kill the runs the Corp of Engineers or any other body with local jurasdiction just wont issue any more permits

Maybe one of the lawyers here will comment. It would be harassment and would not help, but certainly hurt the chances of a good outcome in court.

Someone knows the drivers name and his address, I think we should out him here and start mailing him letters letting him know what we think, who knows maybe he will have a change of heart. I could ramble on for pages, I am so pizzed, bottom line is Marc, Bob, and Cherie DO NOT DESERVE this. My heart goes out to them, I know how hard they took the accident, and now they will be put through the ringer to defend themselves even though they did nothing wrong.

Lawyers only do what their clients ask them to do. The fault is the dumb azz that flipped his boat, killed 2 people, and then decides to sue the event promoter. He's probably being sued and sees this as a way to recoup some of his losses. Lowlife. Sorry Marc and Cherie and Bob that you have to go through this.
