Marc - all the best to you and your team as you guys get dragged into this totally un-neccessarily. What a bunch of B.S.!

If there is anything the poker run community can do to help you battle this out, please let me know as we would love to try and help.

You guys are a class act and have always produced a 1st class event!

!
Maybe we can set up a legal fund to help offset some of the bills, perhaps everyone that has ever attended a poker run or fun run can throw in a bit of money.

NOT a good idea....and please don't ramble on for pages.

I don't know what to say, except that this is the world that we live in.

why not, entering a poker run is not a secret event, is it against the law to send someone a letter, if so I think I will have Capital One arrested I am not suggesting physical harm or anything like that

Maybe one of the lawyers here will comment. It would be harassment and would not help, but certainly hurt the chances of a good outcome in court.

I could ramble on for pages, I am so pizzed, bottom line is Marc, Bob, and Cherie DO NOT DESERVE this. My heart goes out to them, I know how hard they took the accident, and now they will be put through the ringer to defend themselves even though they did nothing wrong.
Donna, This case is a matter of public record, I'm sure Marc wouldn't mind if someone looked the info up and posted it, then everyone could start sending letters, it's a matter of free speech, we would need to start with the scum bag lawyers!

Lawyers only do what their clients ask them to do. The fault is the dumb azz that flipped his boat, killed 2 people, and then decides to sue the event promoter. He's probably being sued and sees this as a way to recoup some of his losses. Lowlife. Sorry Marc and Cherie and Bob that you have to go through this.
