I was a car audio installer way back when Rockford was just getting big. Back then, the original Power 1000 listed for something like $2800.

As for onlinecarstereo.com, I can't stress this enough...if you are going to order from them, call first. Their site will let you order away, regardless of whether the product is in stock or not. And if they don't have it, they won't both to send you an e-mail either. Buyer beware.
