I think what everyone is missing here is that it is not the orig owner but a marina that has stripped it and now thinks it is worth way to much money. Like Brian said its a shame and lets not beat up the guy that lost a great boat the hard way.

Not that the boat couldn't be brought back to life.... Just not for that type of cash. Too many other projects out there actually worth that money. It's got to be worth at least 3,000.00 or 4,000.00 as a core right?! Possibly make a good plug if it is straightened out.
Total shame... hopefully noone was hurt during the incident.

I saw it today. Doesnt look as bad now that the Smoke and ashes are off the hull, but still needs a total redo. Owner of the marina wants 4g no trailer. Would be cool to see it run again someday

Its for sale, its on the south side of chicago. Not much left to it, just a bare hull on blocks. I think the guy who has it wanted like 3g for the hull.
