I've been looking at a few. Laveycraft 2750 (28'6" with swim platform, which is how most builders are measuring these days) did 71 mph with 496 Mag HO in PB magazine. Also Velocity 290 is in that range.

Velocity VR-1 has held the kilo record for the F-1 class for the past several years.

I just happen to have the one that set the record in 2002 available......

i think the 28 acitve thunder would be a good boat. id like to see the one in the classifeds.seems like a good deal.
