Actually it does not look as bad as you would think. I did not think It would look good at all until I got done. I like you did not want to replace gauges. If you can pick up a set of used bezels they can be stripped down to polished alum, thats what I did. These bezels were teal green before I started. The teal coating was just a layer of plastic over the already polished alum.

Thanks. Wait till I post some picks of the interior.... We are doing everything at our shop. This interior and a 32 Skater are the first two jobs and are our own boats. I will post some pics on tuesday of the completed iteriors of both boats.
