The best units I have seen are the Ray Marine. There E series units combine GPS Chart Plotter, Radar, Camera's around the vessel, TV, and also guage monitering. They are awsome machines. I have one myself...

Just did a garmin on a sonic. 2 cameras in the engine room. it was like a 10" screen and you could split the screen , worked out nice. Have the box at the shop but forget the # now though I know it was last years model. Harness was included for video inputs. I just saw the new garmins with the 3d chart plot and weather overlay. Incredable!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guidance was easy to set up.

I just installed a Garmin 3210c on my Bertram. It's an awsome unit with multiple video connections and live XM nexrad weather.

I've got the Northstar 6000i with the Smartcraft interface. It has video inputs and split screen.

I'm planning an upgrade to a Garmin 4212 with the weather overlay and video inputs (DVD) soon. Can't see the extra $$ for the touch-screen 5212. I've owned a 2010C for four years and love it. Garmins are very intuitive to learn and use.
