looking at a perspective boat with silent choice. would anyone be able to provide some input on whether i could change the silent choice (either thru hub or thru transom) to more of a quick & quiet set-up (always thru hub and thru transom)? can i just remove the baffle in the system so that it is always running thru both the hub and thru the transom? nh does not like the 'silent choice' (because you can switch back and forth) and i do not think i can run above 2,000 rpm with the silent choice on anyways, so . . . thanks in advance.

Just remove the metal flap, leave the rod, and disable the switching. Exhaust goes both routes and you retain the ability to put it back for the next owner.
