I didn't know they were coming out with new drives. Can't wait to see them!

Is that the new boat - white silver and blue I've seen running around? I knew it had v10s. The sounds is so much higher pitch.

Funny you should ask.

In the spring of 2006 I spent a whole bunch of money converting my 38 Fountain from perfectly good Mercury power to Ilmor power. I am sad to report that promises made to me by Ilmor that swayed my decision to make that commitment of both time and money have yet to be fulfilled.

I am a very patient person, and I fully realize that people get busy and a lone customer and his issues can sometimes fall between the cracks, but I have been patient enough - perhaps too patient.

I am glad that you started this thread so I could bring my dissatisfaction to someone else inside the company. I hope that Ilmor can finally address my issues as they have drug on, unresolved, for over a year now and that fact is killing my enthusiasm for boating.

I hope to hear from you guys soon,

Robert

You can see the pictures on the Velocity website or on your older Ilmor brochures. I had one of the very first Ilmor powered boats (41 Velocity)

Thanks,
Steve

What kind of issues are you having Robert? I am curious, as I have had Ilmor engines going on my 3rd year. Yet to be dissatisfied with anything or anyone there. The main problems that I am aware of with some issues with other Ilmor powered boats is the drives. When Ilmor produces their own drive, then these problems should go away.
Thanks,
Steve
