LOL I appreciate it. I just cant decide what i want to start preparing for. I really like my scarab with the BB but i also like the ease of my CC,just hook up and go. Also alot less to clean.

24 Superboat.

(1) 300x
(2) 200's
(1) 496HO

These three setups run close to the same speed.

Reliability?? I have a 496HO, put gas in it, change the oil, no problems, no worries.

With some boats, OB vs. I/O will make a diff. With my example, i think it's a personal pref.

I would have to see the actual fuel economy comparison. If you set a 45 MPH cruise speed just exactly what economy would you see with each choice.

I do not automatically buy the fact that twin 200's will beat a BBC at a 45mph comparison.

Go with the wackers! All the above reasons plus the chances of them both breaking is remote. The single I/O breaks and you're in trouble. Then, if you have my luck you're 10 miles from nowhere with no cell service......
