Did anybody ever hear about Fountain putting a couple of 2200hp Twin Turbo's in their Rio Roses boat for testing? They said it go faster than 200mph, then why did they never attempt it?

Thanks for the info, I was at the miami show and really liked the boat. Skip was standing right there so I asked him more about the boat, Model etc, if it was a new design, if he was going to make more etc.

Just said nope, built it for a personal boat and then turned his back and walked away.............

Wasn't real impressed, They had an impressive booth, but all the other booth's had a much warmer welcome when you entered.

I was at cig's booth a half dozen times, the air never changed.
That's ok though.

Just b/c someone says something does not mean much.

I believe the current Vee record belongs to International playboy and public enemy, Baron Schwartz.

The record run was something over 224 mph, and was set with timing equipment that is at least as questionable as that used by everybody else. So the record is equally vague.
