What would a boat weighing 8000 pounds do with two twin 500's and that 26 degree deadrise?

It should do over 70mph.

My '97 32 AT is 7800# with 24*DR and 502mpi's will run 72mph.

less than that water buffalo your pushing clay a 26 single with 850hp will break around a 100. the new 31 single with 800 to 840hp is doing 85 all day erine is building a new dry sump 1000hp to 1100 and it will run about 97 to 100 and they are roomie boats big cabin cockpit is nice like a baja, and they crush waves like no other, and yes I have been on diff boats cigs, fountains,formulas,SB, AT , also OLs, spectra cats skater cats, scarabs, donzis well in a lot of big boats and I have always said one of the best rides in the ocean since thats where I am, CAPECOD area.
