Yes .Thats the deal.100k to the winner and the chance to direct 50k to your favorite charity.
Haven't seen David since that event. He's stayed at the cottage and didn't go to Rice Lake.
Bunch of guys were asking me which charity he told them to donate the 50k to but I haven't heard.Anyone out there know?

We raised 15k at Rice Lake; half of which took 3 minutes to do when Raymond from DOUBLE R asked people to bid up a KIDS SIZE ATV which has done the rounds at a couple of his events and has raised 19k with the same toy.

Childrens Wish Foundation gets yesterdays 15k.

Post who got the 50k when anyone hears.

Great summer for poker runners up here this year!!!!

They should include it with their next magazine issue.

Hey Alec, I got the same phone call. HIGH STAKES INVITATIONAL...$10,000 entry fee, includes 1 room, $100,000 to the winner plus $50000 to the charity of the winner's choice. In reality, $10,000 plus $600 gst plus $797.00 for 2 extra passengers. 21 boats showed up plus at least 1 who paid but couldn't make it but paid anyway. The max number of boats to be 25. NOW MAYBE THERE IS NO CHARITABLE DONATION? I can do that math real quick. Wait a minute, maybe Grant organized this run.

Hmmm....
Somebody whispered a rumor to me about this.
I sure hope it isn't true.
Come on - Stiffing a charity is like taking money out of the plate at church.

I don't understand. What happened to the $110,000 after the $100,000 winner was paid off? That is just the entry fees.....I've never done a PRA poker run before.....don't they have sponsors for these events or is it just paid for by the "for profit" entry fee?
