my guess...because of the weight is that this boat would run about 88 - 92 mph..

I have a 42 Sonic with trips and it weighs 16,000 with trailer. I pull it twice a year with my 1/2 ton GMC. I wouldn't recomend long tows, but a 3/4 ton would half to do better. by the way, I think Sonic's are the best boat going out there now, and once you get used to trip engines it's kind of fun!

I've got a new Ford F250 with the Triton V8. I think it's rated for 12,000 lbs. No problems with my hitch and it's all flat where I tow. The truck is 4WD so no problems at ramps. It may do it. The longest I tow is from Northern MD to Kent Island and that's all flat towing. Sonic says this boat is 9,000 lbs and a third engine probably adds another 1,000 plus a 2,000 lb trailer and I'm right at my limit.

That IS a good price on the Sonic.
Powerquest says my boat is 8500 lbs, that's a lafff! I pulled it over the scales 13,800 lbs with trailer(2500lb trailer)! Not even close! Although this is with all my stuff on board and full tanks(170gal x6.3lbs =1071)and probably 5-600 lbs of gear, I wouldn't take their weight estimates to seriously. But , my Cummins still tows it without a problem, I just hope you have a manual trans. AUTOMATICS SUCK!
