A 21 Superboat or 24 pantera would be competetive with those guys.

You need a boat with a high side. So you are protected in bumper boat mode.

That is awesome! Dirt track stock cars crossed with offshore racing. Those guys sure take a beating. Anybody know how big those boats are?

By the looks of it I would say they are basically being the navigator. Telling them which direction to go and when there is "incoming".

The smaller 150hp boats are 21' with a 7' beam. The 225hp boats are 27' long with a 6' beam.

Great video as a teaching tool for most all ill boat behavior...chine walking, porpoising, stuffing, etc.

Is this a spec class with identical boats and engines? That would keep the cost of racing down, and it looks extremely competitive!

Chine walking ? Some were going from rub rail to rail. Almost senseless at times. I wonder if your allowed to climb back in after a swim and continue.

If a class like that opened over here and allowed stock engines other than Honda, but with same power for same class, I would sign up! That IS racing, not who got the most $$$ kinda show!
