Good looking boats, but I always wondered if it would be weird looking out the windshield that far in front of you...kind of like driving your car from the back seat.

Heck yeah Dreamer! You can hang with Maryland Mark and I as the resident CC guys! I love my Fountain 38TE with triple 275 Verado's. It is a HUGE boat and I am thinking of downsizing to a smaller CC. I did a Labor Day poker run last year and had no problems keeping up in my Fountain CC I also passed a lot of so called go-fast rough water boats too. I arrived dry, comfortable, easy clean up and with fuel to spare and nothing broke!

the guys at Lightning Bay Marine here in St. Pete had a 38 ZSF with triple 300 XS's and a double row of bolsters - fun boat to run - if I remember correctly it was running in the mid to upper 70's and absolutely crushing the waves/wakes.

I have a friend with the 30' version of that boat. Nice boat but is a wet ride offshore. Don't know if 38' is the same ride but I would ensure you have full canvas.
