New 382 owner

2004 Dodge Dually (1 Ton) tows my loaded 382. I towed it from Indiana to California and back no problem.
Not sure what the Bimini should go for. Let me know what a fair price is.

I have the identical boat(2000 382 600"s, gen,AC, steel triple
axel eagle trailer) I pull it with a 2001 GMC HD2500 with duramax diesel(longbed) pickup. Weighted at truck stop scale
with 120 gal of fuel =20, 860 Pulled to LOTO countless times (five hour pull ). We did buy the boat new and we are on the second set of tires on the trailer.
The key is the BRAKES. The tow rig must have 4 wheel
disc brakes. The trailer should have disc also.(I had drum on
all three axels and changed over to disc; no comparison, the disc kick a$s. The length of the truck is also inportant, most short bed trucks will not be to stable. Duallys will give you a certian level of comfort but a single axel long bed will pull nicely(cruise on 70 no extra effort on the wheel) Did have a 99
suburban W/454/410 had the power(6mpg) but DID NOT STOP. Also had to put all the antisway gear on it. Also noticed
a difference on the location of the boat on the trailer (a few inches forward or back can change the way the boat pulls.
Good luck (you have a nice boat).
