At ebay it really looks like he's selling out his last few items. Like cup holders in specific numbers and colors etc.
And there is no longer possible to place an order online at trickmarine.net...

As someone on the sidelines, I would say it's over for trick. I know things happen in individuals lives that are much more important than business. In the same token day to day biz needs to proceed. If it does not then the company more then likely will shut down. At this point I think the customers should have answers and becasue they do not I will no longer purchase anything from Trick.

All I ever expect from someone is truthfulness and full disclosure.
If you're doing what you do as a hobby and you're helping me out, tell me so. If I know upfront that my order then becomes your order to a 3rd party and their delivery times are out of your control, then at least I know where I stand.
On the other hand, if you want to be a "real business", then you have an obligation to disclose whether you have it in stock or not and if not, give me a hard date when you will have it to me. How nice you are or how cheap your prices are has nothing to do with it.
My customers love me, even though I'm way more expensive than any of my competition. That's because they all know I deliver 100% every time. If there's ever a hint of a problem, they get 100% communication of facts. Of one of our people doesn't deliver, it's because they're either hospitalized or dead.
