While I don't like this process I don't believe it violates anything with the Credit Card agreements, it's done all of the time from numerous online companies and Airlines.

Some (the good ones) don't run the charge until the equipment ships but not all of them do. I've had my share of problems with Auto Accessories companies who use this practice and never deliver the goods.

That's why if I can I always use my "AMEX" card they will refund the full amount immediately and do a very thorough investigation.

I guess to some on here since I only have 9 post that my personal experience with Fred didn't count. I also bought some rods from him a few years back and had no trouble with them. Looks like he would pipe in and defend himself or something. Oh make this post 10. When can I have my opinion

if your asking me not yet thats my opinion, what I mean to say is, there's people that only seem to post about something to ***** about , like there engine builder was suck azz or cmi's suck and its there first couple of posts then you find out the true that it wasn't the builder it was them and a lot of guys gang up to support the engine builder, like when the ***** took over his co and made bad valve covers or chity motors,So its been a bad week so if I hurt anyones feelings I am sorry, GOING TO TRY AND REACH FRED TO SEE IF I CAN HELP FOR A WEEK even though I got the good news to day that my knee will finely be replaced NEXT ITS ONLY TAKEN 4 OPERATIONS AND 5 INJECTIONS in the last 3yrs to hear this. So sorry to you that I have hurt.

Good God - if there's a bus going by, somebody here is gonna find someone to throw under it.
I truely think that you and him entered into a transaction in good faith.
Give the Man the benefit of the doubt to make good on his word.

I truely expected fred would do as well as Mark at BAM. Well thats not to be. Turns out he is approaching the Bruce Dudleys of the past OSO world. Hopefully not that bad, but it is remnicient of that episode. Buyers beware.
