Tim, there will always be something we can pick out on any boat. Perfection is in the eye of the beholder. On the the other hand there is the little things and then there are the big gapping mistakes and F,ups that have shown up on boats that were sold as high dollar Offshore Performance Boats that were just unexcusable and never addressed. You now the old line. Is that a real _______ or is that a Sears _____

I think it was a rhetorical question to me - me and cosmic have had this joke going on for a few years now - but I'm not surprised you picked up on it.

"The price of meat has just gone up, and your old lady has just gone down"
One of my favorite lines.

I understand, but I guess, at a certain point...
If I'm gonna spend upwards of 1/2 Mil on a boat, I don't expect to see sloppy caulk, and raw edges on the upholstery.
Not that I EVER forsee myself spending that kind of coin.
My point is more that, I won't even accept that kind of work on my 28 yr old boat as I work on it myself - I don't get how a builder thinks it's that impressive to send a boat to the show with a great concept, and flashy things and details that catch your eye, but pay no attention to the finest details, and the ultimate usabilty, and longevity of the product.
