The boats you're looking at seem to be in the 5-10 year old range. A MAJOR consideration, that hasen't been mentioned here, is it's proir use. If the boats you are looking at have had primarily salt water use you'd better be carefull, salt water boats are a major deduct in value. I don't care how well someone takes care of a salt water boat, every part in the boat has it's life cut in half at best.

Sure Tanner Nice boat.
You can through anything in the list as long as it floats.
Several concideration for me, however. The latest year, the better, under 1000HP at the prop, so the Ins Co. dosen't shaft me to much, 33' +. 475HP min. and of course great looks, great ride in the chops and a grrrreat deal.

If your talking to Dennis directly be careful. He did sell out to Egg Harbor, but maybe he kept that mold. Or its a old hull with a new VIN#. Either way Dennis has been known to alter the truth. I know first hand so I can speak about it. Do a search you'll find some good reading. His shop was about 45 minutes from. I say was, because he's gone now!

For a pretty decent ride, speed and room, go with the Hustler Slingshot.

A suggestion-

You're all over the map on these boats. A Formula is quite a bit different than a Cig and there's a big gap between a 33' Scarab and a 38 Nor Tech.

Decide on what you want based on your needs and desires, then find the boat. Especially now, in a buyer's market, once you decide what you want, finding it shouldn't be a problem.

As I said before, you just aren't going to beat the Cig for resale, style, quality and overall performance.

If you want to expand a bit- look at the Velocity. Not much will go faster than the Velocity with equal power and you don't have the rollover/complicated operational technique issues you would with a step boat. You can also get in to a nice boat for low $$$. Well made boats.

Yep - all over the map. You need to first prioritize what is important to you (speed, comfort, build quality, customer service, overnighting, reliability).
