I would buy used but I have to unload my 2006 Fountain 38TE 1st. I am going to put it into the boat trader and then see how I do with a possible trade in at the Miami show towards a new or used boat.

Here are some threads from a site that is all about CC's. These links covers the boats that we are all talking about. Lots of interesting reading so I hope the lesson learned is you really need to visit and test ride the boats you are interested in.

Hi Mike,
Believe about half what you read.
The article with the four boat test was in Boating May 07. If you look at the photo you will see that the boat they tested for us (Deep Impact) was a used 2005 with over 250 hours, was a cabin model, and had triple 225 not 250 engines. It even had a generator. That boat with 275 Verados will do 70 all day with people and 1/2 tank and the center will be about 2 mph faster.
At the closing the comment they made after testing a two year old boat was " Deep Impact has an ace up its sleeve when it comes to construction, no on, but no one can honestly claim to build a stronger tougher boat" was pretty good considering we do not advertise with them. (little tip, that is how you get the great write-ups) so we must have impressed someone.
Hell my 38 Top Gun went faster in Hot Boat than I have ever seen and me and the Gunb are still having conversations about that!
The dealer is where you buy the boat and 99% of the time that is your future service. We ate over $400,000 in warranty repairs when OMC went belly up covering our customers when there was no OMC. If you search those threads you will see how we take care of our people.
No shot at you as they are great threads, just take them with a grain of salt.

NOVENTA MILLAS Thanks Orlando!!!!!!
And check out LATITUDE POWER BOATS UNDER OWNERS FORUMS , HE HAS A 35CC http://www.latitudepowerboats.com/
We have had our black 28ss with twin etech 225’s for a few months now. We have turned many heads down here in Texas. The funny thing is people forget to ask what happened to the Donzi. There is nothing like running 60MPH with 11 people in the boat!!!! Orlando and Jonathan (and everyone at Latitude Powerboats) were great to work with throughout the entire process, from the test drive at the CC boat show, to walking my wife and I through the factory during the build, all the way down to the delivery in Rockport Texas. You will not be disappointed with this boat and this company. Take care.
